At the last Pyowa (Iowa Python Users Group) meeting, we decided that we would put out a survey to see what we could do to draw more people to our group. The responses led us to decide to try out a different schedule. We will try meeting a different day of the week at a different location on alternating months.
Thus, our next meeting will be in Ames, IA on Thursday, February 5th. The complete details are on our website linked above. From the emails we have received so far, it sounds like there will be more coming than ever before. Our primary focus at the meeting will be working as teams through various common computer science problems, such as converting values, I/O, output formatting, etc.
If you plan to come to our meeting, let me know as we have limited space. I hope to see you there.
